EcoQuip from Graco gives media savings of between 50–75% when blasting to waste, with 92% media encapsulation and no discernible drop in performance when compared to traditional dry blasting methods.

Ideally suited for contractors who presently use traditional blasting methods and are looking to decrease media usage. Also for those companies looking to save money from sending work out to contract blasters, who don’t want the expense of or have the space for an in-house blasting facility; but have the room outside for a small blasting area.

As the EcoQuip Vapour blasting process encapsulates 92% of the blasting media within a narrow cone of water vapour, the need for erection of scaffolding and screening can in most instances be negated.

Particularly useful when removing poisonous coatings such as lead based paints. Especially in built up areas and sensitive locations such as parks, recreational areas, nature reserves etc.

Though traditional vapour blasting has been around in one form or another for decades and offered by many manufactures so would not normally be considered as a new process; however when it applies to Graco ‘EcoQuip’ it might as well be classed as a completely new method of media blasting.

EQ100m Portable:

Compact, fully portable unit.

With its built-in hand truck, slide rails and convenient lifting eye, the patented EQ100m design facilitates easy portability.

It fits into most small to medium class van or open bed type truck.

The EQ100m can accommodate any abrasive heavier than water and, when coupled with an air compressor that can produce 4.7-10.6 m3/min (165-375 cfm) @ 6.8 bar (100 psi), the EQ100m blasts from 2-8.3 bar (30-120 psi).

It’s a tough worker, capable of handling any type of project, from cleaning to surface preparation.

EQ300s:

Portable, mid to high production unit

The EQ300s is a stand-alone unit designed to tackle most typical blasting projects. It works with a standard compressor 5.2 m3-10.6 m3 (165-375 cfm) and fits inside a standard medium to large size van or flat bed truck bed. The EQ300s is built according to tough standards, with user-friendly convenience and safety features. It’s also sized to stack safely in a warehouse.

EQ600s:

Portable, high production unit

Built to withstand the toughest working conditions, the EQ600s is a high production stand-alone unit to tackle your largest, most demanding projects.

It requires an air compressor at 10.6 m3-17 m3 (375-600 cfm) and features the same user-friendly features as its smaller version, the EQ300s. It fits inside a standard medium to large size van or flat bed truck bed for easy transport to the job site and also stacks easily to conserve warehouse space.
